David's story
Back pain

For the majority of his life David has worked in a labour-intensive role in a high demand industry, David is healthy and eats a well-balanced diet and exercises regularly. For pain, THC is used in combination with CBD in our products to help change the way your nerves function. By utilising a plant-based treatment like cannabis, you can stay away from harmful and potentially addicting treatments such as opiates that come with severe and long-lasting side effects.

Jessica's story
Inflammatory pain

Jessica has two kids and lives in a small town where she grew up working in various roles such as a delivery driver, sales rep, and cleaning assistant. Now Jessica works as a bookkeeper, and for most of Jessica’s life she has been very active with running, fishing and outdoor activities with her two dogs and family, but since turning 50, Jessica has noticed she cannot push hard buttons or move her hands in a way she once had. Her middle index finger has swelled up with large bumps, and her fingers feel inflamed and can be painful on some days.

Jessica has an inflammatory condition that is very common as we age, Jessica was using cortisone cream but found that it only masks the pain and did not give her the relief she needed. Her local doctor had offered to prescribe her opiates to relieve the pain, but she felt they had too many side effects and she feared she might become addicted. Since beginning treatment with our cannabis cream, because it’s a topical solution the CBD goes directly into your bloodstream via your skin, so you do not need to ingest or smoke any cannabis. Jessica is pleased with her treatment and the relief it has provided her, Jessica has since recommended the cream to her mother who is in her mid-nineties and suffers from inflammatory pain in her hips and knees.

Inflammatory pain varies significantly from person to person, and it depends on the severity of the illness and location in your body as to what cannabis treatment you should use. Our products can treat everything from Chron’s disease to joint inflammation; please contact us to arrange a chat with one of our medical team.

Matthew's story
Epilepsy

Dravet syndrome is a rare and debilitating form of Epilepsy where seizures can number in the hundreds per day. Matthew was one of these patients where no medication will work as there is no cure and Matthew is classed as a refractory case by the doctors, this means there are no treatment options that will help him.

Matthew started his Epilepsy treatment with cannabis after his parents decided that enough was enough. Matthews symptoms became so severe they had no choice but to start treatment with cannabis from the black market. His symptoms almost stopped overnight, and he was starting to get back the quality of life he once had. Then a severe problem started, their supplier was no longer able to meet the demand for the high CBD content oil they needed to help Matthew. Since beginning treatment with pharmaceutical-grade cannabis, Matthews parents do not have to worry about consistency in the product, fluctuations in quality or rely on an illegal supply from the black market. The high CBD strains we treat Epilepsy patients with are the same strains we use in our forthcoming Epilepsy medicine which is currently in pre-clinical trials now.

The main issue Matthews parents faced was finding a doctor willing to prescribe CBD as a medicine to treat his Epilepsy, HERBA has many doctors that work with us to bring outcomes to patients such as this. HERBA’s team of medical professionals can walk you through the process so you can receive the treatment you need for your loved ones.
